Here's another idea for a Storyline feature, which would give me another option if it existed. The act of pointing is very intuitive on a touchscreen.
Add a regular click trigger, which unfortunately desktop users could use to advance instead of the right-click they're instructed to do. Most touch screen drivers enable a touch or press to act as the left button click of a mouse.
On the slide's player controls, enable swiping to advance and keep the next button disabled, in order to force desktop users to right-click to advance but allow touchscreen users to advance. Meanwhile, I have a couple ideas on how to work around this limitation. It would be great if triggers included touch-specific actions and even better if Storyline supported mobile-friendly conditions at the trigger level, for example. Jia, did you find a solution or work-around? We also need the course to be 100% mobile-friendly. Same issue here. We are working on a basic computer literacy course where right-clicking is an essential skill we need to cover at multiple points.
